Client: Chacras de AnimaChacras de Ánima is an open community of large-scale rural plots located in Maldonado, Uruguay — a landscape defined by rolling hills, open horizons and a deep connection with nature.
The project is composed of three-hectare chacras, conceived to host low-impact, ecological developments that coexist with the natural environment. Rather than imposing on the land, the proposal allows nature to remain the protagonist — preserving its rhythms, vegetation and openness.
Set against the backdrop of the sierras, the site benefits from constant natural airflow, bringing a subtle sense of freshness during warmer days. The presence of wildlife and open land — where horses move freely across the terrain — reinforces a lifestyle rooted in calm, space and authenticity.
At SOTO, we developed the project through strategy, branding and content, shaping its positioning, narrative and visual identity. Our work focused on translating the essence of the place into a clear and compelling communication system, aligning territory, lifestyle and brand into a cohesive experience.
The result is a project that positions itself not only as land, but as a way of inhabiting the landscape — where nature, architecture and life unfold in balance.
